The Electrician Power Systems is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the CFTOD Utility Plants’ electrical systems. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.Basic Qualifications : Valid Florida driver’s licenseMust be a qualified Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial and/or utility environmentExperience in power distribution, generation systems and associated controlsUnderstanding of OSHA and industry standard lock-out tag-out safety proceduresAbility to pass a role-specific, technical knowledge-based written assessment and interviewAbility to read electrical schematicsPossess the ability to interpret blueprintsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsExcellent written and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devicesPreferred Education : An Associates degree in an engineering related field is desiredAdditional Information : Schedule Availability:Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
