The Print Room Coordinator serves as the key member between Production Planning and Manufacturing Operations, ensuring manufacturing orders are accurately released, sequenced, communicated, and executed on the shop floor. The Print Room Coordinator monitors production work in process (WIP), identifies potential barriers to execution, communicates risks, and escalates issues impacting schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery. The position plays an important role in ensuring production priorities established within SAP are effectively translated into daily manufacturing activities. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the daily release, printing, and distribution of manufacturing orders to production areas. Ensure manufacturing priorities established in SAP are accurately communicated and reflected on the shop floor. Serve as the primary communication link between Production Planning, Nesting, and Manufacturing Operations. Maintain alignment between production schedules and shop floor execution. Monitor production flow to support schedule adherence. Ensure production areas receive the appropriate workload in the correct sequence to maximize throughput and minimize disruptions. Maintain and update visual management systems used to communicate production priorities, workload status, and production progress. Ensure visual production controls are properly implemented, maintained, and consistently utilized throughout the manufacturing areas. Monitor backlog, past due orders, work-in-process (WIP), schedule adherence, and capacity utilization metrics. Communicate and escalate production constraints, capacity concerns and flow interruptions. Support supervisors and manufacturing teams by providing timely information regarding production orders. Participate in daily production meetings and communicate status updates, priorities, and operational risks. Maintain production-related documentation and ensure accuracy of manufacturing paperwork. Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives through control of orders and effective visual management. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing, production control, scheduling, or operations experience preferred. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations. Experience with SAP ERP/MRP systems. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with planning, manufacturing, and support teams. For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is $18.95 to $28.45 per hour. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location.
