Aufgaben Job Description  Server as sealing system engineer to lead vehicle door sealing system development and localization project for Mercedes-Benz production lines. Support the full-lifecycle technical management of Window guide rail, Sealing rail inner, Sealing rail outer, E line, Door seal, Edge protection, manage the entire process from concept design, series design, prototype verification to mass production. Support the definition of the technical solution according to project target and design specification (FLH, SLH, KLH) and present on Tech/Zone meeting to ensure that technical solutions meet Mercedes Benz requirements on performance, safety, cost and reliability. Collaboration with Headquarter to clarify the technical requirements on components. Such as 3D master, drawing, SFK, MB standard on joining, material, tolerance…etc.; performance requirement on safety, durability and corrosion; test requirements from Duke, KLH and Fuvo.. Work together with BIW structure, OVD, PLE and other team to fulfil the requirement of function, package and testing team requirements during Design engineering for China unique content development. Responsible for FLH and KLH detail content definition, ensure the data release like I/P/W and blank release to match digital development milestone, as well as the function release and PVP&R release to match project milestone during launch phase. Responsible for technical management include TR with supplier, technical explanation and clarification with supplier, PP and pilot plants, keep design synchronization with headquarter departments. Support CGL/MGS for supplier nomination process, visit supplier for procurement audit and process audit.Track the Part maturity, testing and delivery progress of supplier parts, and promote suppliers to carry out technical improvement and cost optimization. Responsible on part maturity tracking to ensure part fitment in vehicle level both for static check and dynamic check from Voca and AK team. Support component availability and maturity for complete vehicle test like winter test, summer test and durability test.  Responsible on the issue solving during development and hardware phase, align the SOMA, LAMA and preventive measures together with supplier, RD1/RD2, MP and QM to close issue in ZEUS system. Support deviation documentation process in PDRS system. Achieve innovation-driven closure system targets for appearance, function, quality, cost and weight. Accumulate the lessons learnt from daily work and project for continue optimization on product, project and working method. Qualifikationen Qualification Experience  - minimum 5 years’ work experience in sealing system development in automobile OEMs/Suppliers and have experience on at least 2 new carline development. Specific Knowledge  - Be familiar with the sealing concept principle, sealing section, design specifications, development process and industry technology trends of automobile sealing systems and master the performance requirements and selection standards of sealing systems (such as sealing rail inner & outer, window guide rail, E line etc.). - Possess solid professional knowledge in mechanical design, structural mechanics, material performance, etc. Proficiency in 3D design software such as NX, as well as Smaragd, will be advantage for the experience that independently complete the structural design and performance simulation of closure systems - Be familiar with relevant laws, regulations and standards in the automobile industry (such as collision safety, NVH, waterproof and dustproof, etc.), have rich experience in closure system test and verification, and be able to formulate test plans, analyze test data and put forward improvement measures. - Be responsible and rigorous in work, be able to work under pressure, have strong awareness on innovation and continuous learning ability, and be able to adapt to the rapid development rhythm of the automobile industry. - Solid knowledge in Mercedes Benz development processes and project decision landscape (e.g. MDS, Tech, Pro, Zone-meeting) - Intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels and joint venture partners - Very good Chinese and English language skills, German language beneficial - High commitment for automobiles and self-responsible working attitude and initiative - Willingness to travel in domestic and abroad to handle projects topics - Strong planning and organizational skills, supplier management skill - Good communication skills and problem-solving skill
